My 5 favourite December treats

Is design really everything? Some may argue yes and in months like this, I tend to agree. Here are my five top picks for designed beauties, from the tasty and cozy artisanal to the designed wellbeing, healthy and forward:
Warm bread
In Transylvania, hot ovens make warm bread at night, or at least they did when I was growing up. Going home, I used to pass the tasty scents and stop to buy it fresh for dinner. Large round loaves that I was barely able to hold, mmm.. not many things taste better..

Reading

Catching up on my stack of unread books with my coffee not without the fabulous linen sheets that I tend to buy anew every winter. Little rituals are like warm blankets, good to cuddle and let yourself loose.

Knitting
Even though I do not get to it often enough, watching tv with my hands knitting away has been something I’ve enjoyed since grade 8

Self-Pampering
I am one of those people who never make it to the hair salon because I don’t seem to ever be able to book an appointment. These hairdressers are so busy that it takes too much of compromising my own schedule in order to make anything work. Year-end is different. This is where I make a point to give in. I always enjoy it.

And last, travelling
Not that I do not travel at other times of the year, but travelling at Christmas has the added bonus of nobody missing you. Often I find the holidays need to be short to meet all kinds of business expectations. There are zero expectations during the winter holidays. It is like the invisible me!
